Dominik Muszynski – renowned musician from Rzeszow was Michal’s first teacher to give him inspiration and knowledge.

Michal has studied in Poland and abroad including such countries as Africa, Cuba, Ireland, Germany, France where he broaden his musical sensitivity and skills under such names as Mouktar Toure-Les Ballets Africains (Conakry, Guinea), Sana Camara-Soleil de Afric (Conakry, Guinea), Nikodem Bakowski (Poland), Wojtek Peczek (Poland), Raj Padam (India), Tonynho dos Santos (Brazil), Jose Angel Blanco (Havana-Cuba), Jorgito Baglan Pichardo (Havana-Cuba), Patrick O’Really (Ireland), Sasa Federici (Italy) and more

Michal skillfully combines his pedagogical knowledge with his passion for music to organize successful drumming and ukulele team building workshops for corporates, workshops in schools, kindergartens, festivals etc.

Why drumming?

For thousands of years, drumming has been the most effective team building and tribal motivation activity in all cultures. People used group drumming to communicate and develop village relationships. In the context of the military, where teamwork is essential, it has for many centuries been the drummers that have been the bond for the soldiers going to battle.

Modern research show exactly how our brain waves are affected by rhythm and drumming. The drumbeat alters brain wave patterns, increasing Alfa waves and dramatically reducing stress. Participants of interactive drumming quickly reach an ALPHA state, which enhances focus and clarity. Through the rhythmic repetition of sounds, the body, brain and the nervous system are energised and transformed.

We relax, we stop worrying about tomorrow or yesterday-we are in the HERE AND NOW.

Benefits of drumming:

  • improve self-esteem, self-confidence
  • enhance social relationship
  • promotes unity and team building
  • gives relaxation
  • develops creativity
  • boosts energy and receptivity
  • brake down barriers between drummers

What is important, the drum is the most accessible instrument for non-musicians. Drumming requires no talent, aptitude or physical ability – just a sense of fun!

Drumming is probably the most powerful tool for team-building and the most exciting form of entertainment for companies.
